A polynomial is an expression with any number of terms that has real coefficients and has whole number exponents. A polynomial function is a function that can be written as $f(x)=\alpha_{n}x^n + \alpha_{n-1}x^n-1 + ... + \alpha_{1}x + \alpha_{0}$
Where $\alpha_{n}, \alpha_{n-1},..., \alpha_{1}, \alpha_{0}$ are real numbers. Also, n is a nonnegative integer.
